Literacy
Today we began our discussion of LITERARY DEVICES. Authors often use literary devices to make their writing more descriptive. The first literary device we talked about was ALLITERATION.
We listened to a poem by Jack Prelutsky to inspire us to come up with interesting ice cream flavours. Write your ice cream flavour in your agenda and be prepared to illustrate it tomorrow. Feel free to do two flavours (double scoop) or three flavours (triple scoop)!

Our response today was a connection to Ivan's words, "With enough time you can get used to almost anything." If you haven't done so already, think about a time in your life where you had to get used to a new change. It can be a big or small event.

Math
We focused on representing decimal tenths on a number line. I was very pleased with everyone's level of understanding. Complete your MathUP exercises carefully.

Health
What are all the different things that a nutrients fact label tell us? The ingredients label? Why might it be important for someone to know the ingredients?
