Grade 5s are just about finished their mind maps. No more class time will be given. It is due on Friday. Remember it is a mind map. Use the  fewest words as possible to communicate information and include illustrations to add to the visual presentation.

Math
Grade 4 please complete chapter review to ensure you are ready for the test. Complete your Mathletics assignments for practice. Remember Ava's tip for finding the median on a stem and leaf plot. The most common mistake in graphing (all types) is forgetting to include titles and labels on axes. Neatness counts in graphing!

Grade 5 make sure you understand trends in broken line graphs. Complete your homework on broken line graphs and Mathletics assignments.

Health
Last day to complete questions for game show. Each group divided the remaining questions. In most groups, each person had to come up with 2 more questions specific to long or short term effects. Make sure you have your questions prepared for Wednesday. On Wednesday you will be given time to rehearse your game show. You must submit a copy of the questions when you present to the class. See the weekend post for links to sites.

Track and Field
Tomorrow (Tuesday) we are scheduled to participate in the Track and Field meet at TD Waterhouse Stadium (Western University). Please check the radio to make sure the meet has not been cancelled. If I hear anything, I will post it on the blog. The link below will take you to the order of the events for the day if your parents would like to attend or watch you compete.
