Math

Please make sure you complete your Mathletics assignments. We will be having a short quizs on Data Management this week. You will need to construct a stem and leaf plot and double bar graph from secondary data. You will also have to make RELEVANT observations about the data. Grade 5 you will have to do a bar graph with intervals as well. We will learn more about that next week. The last topic in data management is median, mode and mean (mean for grade 5 only). On Tuesday we will finish our survey assignment. Next is area and volume.

Science

Have you figured out what happened in our pennies and vinegar investigation? 

The material for your volcano is due on Thursday. I will bring all the reactants. You just have to construct the volcano. You will have a double period to put it together and then we demonstrate the reaction to the grade 1/2 class. They will be so impressed with your chemistry skills!

Genius Hour

We are wrapping up the research part of our Genius Hour projects. On Friday we will begin organizing our information for our presentation. If you still have some outstanding research to complete, you are more than welcome to stay after school next week. 

We will presenting our projects the first week in June.
